U.S. Open questions from a UK Bowler
« on: February 14, 2006, 01:02:20 PM »
Is the U.S. Open a pay and play event or is there some other requirement needed to bowl other than a national association card?

I had a look at the scores so far and to be honest I was not impressed. Are the conditions that hard? I would have thought with all the big names there that there would have been more guys shooting 1400+ over 6.
I would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky kids (Behind my lane) and those blasted 10 pins.

What type of pattern/conditions are they putting down?
