I care...because I LIKE it. I wish they had more F-bombs on TV. And more wardrobe malfunctions, too.

Maybe trash talk should be allowed.

Maybe someone should SCREAM!! "WAIT A MINUTE" right as a guy is bringing the ball down the back swing.

Well his family was there including his son and what a poor role model he is or maybe he talks like that in front of his son all the time. There are plenty of guys and gals competing in various sports on tv for their livelyhood and you don't hear that kind of language so there really is no excuse for it

espn could have dumped it, so it''s hard to blame kretzer in the heat of battle. If kornheiser got 2 weeks, than whoever was manning the dump button should get suspended if it is really a big deal these days - for cable tv.

Why does every do gooder feel the need to chime in when some thing is said or done that is not what he or she would do. It happend, it's over, let it go. Who are you to judge? You probably heard it clearer than anybody in the audience thanks to ESPN's michrophone. How many curse words are said in any other sport that are not heard(MLB,NFL,NBA,etc.)?

Let me ask you a question, bowling is a decling sport and we need to get as many people interested in it as possible, so how many young kids do you think were watching the program today and how many do you think now think if they mess up bowling the language used today is ok for them to use. There is nothing wrong with being passionate about what you do for a living and getting upset with yourself and showing it. Even if after the game he would hve said hey what I said was inapproiate at lease thats something and it speaks directly to the children watching.

After reading the other thread where Rileybowler criticized Kretzer, I begin to wonder what he has out for him.
Frankly it's ESPN2's fault. Isn't live programming on a tape delay for at least 5 or 10 seconds to catch this kind of stuff? If they didn't have the players on a mic for no reason, this would never have been noticed anyhow

So he dropped the F bomb. Big deal. Like others have said watch other sports you can hear it on other sports. Hell during FirstTake on ESPN Barry Melrose was asked something about his hair and he replied "with chicken S__t". That was right over the air. If any of you watch Nascar you can hear it on the radio sometimes. Don't give this he is a poor role model crap either. How many parents swear right in front of their kids? Does that make them any less of a parent? I could not tell you how many times my parents dropped swear words in front of me growing up. If you want to keep kids from hearing words like that you better lock them up in the house take away EVERYTHING, don't let them watch movies, play games, listen to music, hell you better take away their reading stuff as well. Sorry my rant is over.

I don't have anything against Brian, in fact I was rooting for him to win and I think he would tell you straight he bowled a terrible game, its one thing hitting the pocket and not getting good carry but missing the pocket 8 out of 10 times isn't good by anyone's standard

I think Kevin Garnett swears enough in one Celtics game to cover for every f-bomb dropped by a bowler for a year and then some...

I think some people should be more worried about the language at the bowling centers during a regular league bowling session than the occasional slip on live television.

It's some parenting today that leads kids to be the way they are today. I am 26 years old and all throughout my childhood, I never saw as much of the problems that society has today.. A boob slip on tv and mom's get irate and call Janet Jackson a whore. A guy says and I have use quotations "The F word" and parents call for his career because he's a bad role model.

I'm sorry, as a kid I looked up to the guys who some of you would consider to be bad role models. It's funny out how some of the guys who bowlers think are the "good guys" are not so much off camera.. During the US Open Qualifying rounds, I bowled with Norm who let off more than his fair share of "F bombs". Weber did very audibly, and even Walter Ray himself said sh-t a few times..But because we hold those guys to such high admiration, the crowd looks away.

My friend was mumbling to himself while grabbing his bag to go to the next pair, said a cuss word and was threatened to be reported to the tournament director..I even said to myself "Way to f-ing be Justin" after missing a simple spare and the scorer on my lane told me that it was unacceptable, no more than 5 mins after Norm throws a split and has a small fry moment.

Welcome to the world, those who are offended by cuss words. They are out there, they are real, and no matter how hard you tried to protect your precious little snow flakes, sooner (much more) than later, they are going to hear an ear full of it, and then it'll be their turn to say it.

You obviously dont have young children or at least we all hope you don't.  And just becuse it is the "real world" doesnt make it right.  The real world of today is not somehting to be proud of.

So typical of the pollyanna crap you and other religious people like to say.  Go to any playground at any school.  You'll hear it all the time.  Do you really think they don't say the word?  This has been discussed ad-nauseum every time a bowler is caught on mic saying something.  Nobody cares except those that want to turn a deaf ear to the souonds of the real world.

You write 6 paragraphs as to why Kelly Kulick shouldn't be bowling in the TOC, yet you say this about Brian Kretzer. You need an enema so you can get your head out of your arse. You have some very screwed up priorities.
