He commented that the change in equipment was a big reason for the win.  What do you guys think was the problem with his AMF stuff?  Just not a good match up?  Or is it all in his head?

IMHO, I think that it WAS the equipment. Like I said in another post, Mr. Duke is a formidable talent, and has won using different companies, so there MUST BE A REASON he chose brunswick, and I think it is the readability, reliability, and dependability of the activator based covers.

No one else has anything like it. There are imitators, but no duplicators. The activator coverstock is without equal, bar none.

You couple this with the versatile, performance based cores they are using now, and you have the MOST VERSATILE LINE OF BALLS AVAILABLE TODAY.  You can hook them, you can roll them, you can twist them, and it STILL STRIKES! And as versatile and capable as Mr. Duke is, this might be an almost perfect fit!

I read in another column that Duke's contract with AMF ended in Jan and he just decided to try something else!

I don't believe he signed with them, he's a FA tossing their stuff right now.
