Anyone know what the pros are using in Medford. I know there is still about 32 bowling but there has to be some stuff that working better than others.

Considering the pattern that is used Medford is all about shot making, and less about equipment.
Here is a link to the pattern: http://pba.com/resources/oilpatterns/laneconditions.asp?ID=36

With it being a shotmakers pattern...I would bet on some benchmark balls. Things like Gamebreakers, Infernos, Dimensions, Black Widows, etc

I would think they would be using alot of Hyroads, twisted Fury, Infernos, and stuff with contoled drillings.

Since when are dimensions and black widows benchmark balls?
Just my opinion...either one could be your ball that gives you a good controllable breakpoint. Both drilled with pin down layouts are as readable in the midlane as anything out there.

Dimension and Black Widows are great balls. I agree.
-
Most used balls this week are by Storm and Roto.
Virtual Gravity's, Street Rods and Cell's both Pearl and Solid, Grand Illusion.
Some 2nd Dimension, Dimension and Hy-Roads.
Lots of Gamebreakers and Ebonite One Pearl's.

What Blockbuster said. Lots of Cells (both solid and pearl) Virtuals, HyRoads, 2nd Dimensions, One Pearls, Rattlers, Wild Rides. Sprinkle in some Cherry Vibes, Hot Sauce, and Breaks. Definitely Storm dominated right now.
-
Anyone know what Patrik Allen and Bill Oneal are throwing. Since Bill is Free Agent and Patrick was throwing both Storm and Hammer last week

PA: Blue Vibe mostly. Also used a Black Widow and Cherry Vibe in the later games.
O'Neill: Started the qualifying early in the week with Ebonite (One Pearl, Magic, etc.) but switched to Storm on Thursday and used mostly a T Road Pearl, HyRoad, and I think I saw a Second Dimension too.

PA + Blue Vibe = uh oh.

Benchmark balls are generally balls with strong coverstocks and weak cores/drills. Both balls have strong coverstocks. Both can be drilled weak. Both can be good benchmark balls. Admittedly it is not as common to have a asymmetrical ball as a benchmark, but it is not unheard of/impossible.
My Black Widow was my bench mark ball in tournaments. It had the smoothest roll out of all my other equipment, and I could read the lanes the best with it.
