Wolfe just pulled out The One.  So why did he bother wearing a Brunswick shirt if he's not gonna even use it the whole time?

Wow.  WTF happened to Scroggs?  I'm only watching the live scoring on PBA.com so I can't see the mess he's making.  He opened both the 7th and 10 frames doing what?

What'd Collins do in the 2nd?  And did he freak out?

The lack of coolness was something that I noticed with Art Brown when he was on TV at the Masters.  Locally he is a real level headed bowler, quiet and calm.

Getting pumped up on TV might have had his adrenaline a little higher, and he was getting a little more on the ball to bring it high perhaps.

I wouldn't be surprised if that missed spare in the 9th was just a ho-hum toss down the lane by Collins.  Tell me if I'm wrong.

Hard to tell.  But I think that he knew he had lost the match at that point so he probably did just get up there and toss it.  He was actually a lot cooler than I expected.

He was shooting at a 2 or 8 I think, and barely clipped it.  His spare ball was jumping left on him right before the pin deck.  The 9 whiff was same deal, it was going to be outside left edge, and then the ball jumped.

On the ho-hum scale, I'd give that a 7.  He obviously dropped his ball speed which is why his ball jumped.  It wasn't full out, but you could read his face that doom was on the horizon

--------------------
D <~~~~ Used to be terrible wiffing 10 pins.  Now through much practice, can wiff any single pin spare at any time.

Wolfe did change to The One on one pane and stayed with what appeared to be a Classic Zone on the other.

Yeah, I wonder.  Only a fool would ever think that the operator was the reason for success.
