Hey, the first time had a great turnout, so let's do it again!
This one might be IMPOSSIBLE to predict, because of the tournament format. But I have to go with a guy who's been bowling great lately, and is due for a win: Pete D. Weber.

i'm goin back to back for Jeff!
-
Wes will be a good option.
-
Norm Duke.
-
well seeing they have to bowl on every pattern im going with wes or tommy jones
-
Ummm, in this tournament I believe Duke, Barnes, Malott, Tommy Jones, Walter Ray, and PDW will do very well.
But ultimately Patrick Allen might just prevail.

Bill O'Neill is way overdue!
Brian Voss has come close several times this past month or so.
Mallott, Duke and Williams are on tears.
Patrick Allen has been very aggressive lately.
Hmmm, Barnes and Weber both admitted to having torn up their hands quite a bit this past week. 54 games is still a lot of games.
5 PBA patterns PLUS a lot of games = a marathon of versatility:
Machuga, Jurek, Allen, Mallott, Jaros are all contenders.

PDW looked comfortable on TV this past week. PDW all the way!!!

good point. they did say there hands hurt from having to put the extra turn on it.......so i would think anybody who took the week off last week have a good shot since they will be a little bit fresher for all the extra games.

How is Wes not near the top? He has been on TV for all the regular patterns this year and just had a week off.

This thing feels like it's going to play like a major, and any time you've got that scenario, Ryan Shafer has to be in the conversation.
Barnes should do well, as should Mallott and the other usual suspects (Duke, WRW, etc.).
If you want a really, really dark horse -- Brian LeClair. He doesn't seem to dominate any pattern but also doesn't seem to really have a "dead" pattern, either (Shafer's challenge will be fighting through Cheetah).
This is going to be like Tour Trials. The guys that avoid a so-so block will hit the top.

Got to go with Tommy Jones. Hasn't won yet this season so why not this tournament? He's been close,
-
arg....he just missed qualifying. That sucks!
-
if it is top qualifier gets to pick, and if it's Big Wes, I am thinking Scorpion

Wes Mallott proves he's just not human really.
The guy's on fire, and betting against him is insane. And I love how he called out the dude from PTI. I'd love it if PTI plays off it. More media = greatness.
