Does anyone think it is fair that exempt players are allowed to compete with regional players hoping for an exemption? Why should the player of the year be competing with regional players.

They should be competing because that is how they make their living, bowling. So do you think exempt guys shouldn't be able to bowl league? These guys bowl whatever they can because that's how they make money. The regional guys who are hoping for an exemption next year know that if they want to be out on the big tour they need to beat the best anyways.

True, but if an exempt player is first in points in a region then that exemption goes back to the PBA, not to the next highest non exempt player.
