You know, the bracket sets up fairly well for another run by Captain America (Steve Rogers). He gets Billy O in the Round of 32. If he gets through that, he takes on the winner of Kretzer-Steelsmith. If he were to advance, the only really huge name in his path would be Couch.

Don't get me wrong, I know that all of the players out there are outstanding, so there are no easy roads. I just think that, based on who he might have had to face, his potential path is less challenging than it could have been.

Don't underestimate Oatman.  I bowled with him at the ProAm at Hawthorn, and he threw an AWFUL nice ball.  He's been making a LOT of cuts, just hasn't made it through to the show, yet.  A great guy, he throws a Pain, and I root for him every week ever since the ProAm.  He was the nicest pro I bowled with.  (I bowled with Oatman, LeClair, Ciccone, Warren, Delutz and PDW.)

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

Oh, like I said, Splendor, I know that all of those guys can bowl. I just mean, compared to having to run through the gauntlet of guys like PDW, Walter Ray, Tommy Jones, etc, etc, his road appears slightly easier.

Personally, if Rogers does bow out, I'd like to see either Billy O. or Jeff Carter come out of that part of the bracket.

I think it's going to be hard to get past the lefties on the fresh.  Later blocks they might be more vulnerable.

Does that pattern/surface favor the lefties in some way?

They're in the national bowling stadium.  No matter what is put down, the good lefties kill it.  I heard it has something to do with bad topography at the stadium where it takes forever and a year for the leftside to break down.

I've no idea if this is true, but I've heard that there is a very slight left to right tilt on the lanes at the stadium.  Seems unlikely, but.....

when they are going to start playing its 12 and nothing happens!
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA
for ppl who dont watch TV or want to save the matches this will be great!

Foundation may be off but the lane beds can be  leveled out with the foundation being off is this not true?

True, and may have been done, but I have heard that at least some lanes were at one time out of side-to-side level.  Something to do with water erosion under the building I think.

BTW, Jeff Carter shoots 131 in game one.  WOW!!

They're on Pacific time, and the rounds start at 9am local time.  That's 12pm Eastern.
