Give Patrick Allen some credit
« on: January 10, 2009, 04:00:46 AM »
Everyone always bashes the lefties when there are 3 lefties on the show.  Well, give PA some credit.  He was the only lefty to make the top 16 (and bowled 279 in the position round to do it), and only he and scroggins were in the top 32 for the left side.  And he went on to make the show.  I guess he can bowl well even when the left side is tough.

There's no way I'll root for him, but props to him for making the show.

Another way to look at things to is how many times has he been the one on the bottom? Such is life out on the tour some weeks you will be the high lefty some weeks you will be the low lefty. Don't get me wrong they all can kick my butt any day of the week.

Yeah.  But there is something to be said about the fact that he is the only lefty out of 8-10 of them that even made the top 16.  Mad props there "Hoss".

I enjoy watching PA on tv, he's one of my favorite lefties. Good for him for making the top 16. Andrew Cain got spot 51. Andrew Cain came to my bowling alley for years and he always had a great attitude and was enjoyable to watch. Hopefully next time he will make it.
