northface28, why is it you only seem to surface when you feel the need to criticize me ? if that's what makes you tick, so be it.
allow me to respond to your first post. if you read my post carefully you will notice i said "tournaments", plural, meaning more than 8 games. i'm proud that i was able to make all these spares. and believe me there were plenty of shoot at. when you aren't striking( i only averaged appx. 209 )you have to make them or lose even more ground on the leaders. as i crossed with steve jaros at one tournament he was kind enough to answer some of my questions on how to improve. he even complimented me on my spare shooting ! this might not matter to you but it does to me.
as to your second post. walter ray williams, jr., did not make the telecast at the abc masters that year. you must be thinking of the us open, which by the way he won. i'm sure i'm not the only one who remembers the masters from that year. parker bohn III shot 300 on tv and the crowd went wild......i would too if i'd been there. we were lucky enough to have parker speak at our association's hall of fame banquet several years ago. what a classy guy.
in case you're worried my pba library is safely stored. we've had a very harsh winter thus far and i've made sure the tapes and dvd's are in a climate controlled area.
