Someone with Tivo or someone who taped bowling, what was the ball that Luis Gonzalez threw in ceremonial first ball.  It looked like it had a Zone logo on it.  Anyone???

I saw that too. At first I thought I was seeing things, but when the camera panned over...I saw a Big "Z" on it hmmm...I'll have to rewind that one later...

If you guys can remember it, it looked a lot like those old Johnny Petraglia Zone Pro Am balls. It was a silver particle pearl and I think that was it, or maybe something coming out soon...but why would Gonzalez have one? Must have gotten a job at Big B or something...

If anyone wants one of those old Petraglia Pro Zone balls, I have a 16 lb I could get rid of. It's never been plugged but it does have about 100 games on it. Still hooks, though. I moved down to 14 pound equipment and can't use it anymore.

(sarcasm on)

The silver/gray ball LuGo was throwing was, most definitely, an Enriched Uranium.  He was getting a terrible reaction on the lanes.  I was certain was would switch.  I haven't seen a pro on TV with a ball reaction that bad in years.  It looked like the ball had burned up it's energy by the time it got to the pocket.
