No more so than Bill O''Neill made it look easy last week. Great job by Gu. The part I have trouble with is if Randy Petersen''s comments are true, and this guy was getting hack comments from our pretty boy pros. Starts to look like an international version of a Scroggy hate fest.

I loved it...

You can't hack your way to a PBA title.  Smells like elitist attitude from a few of the good old a boys on tour.

Sucks that they were ripping him during the week, too bad the PBA Guys are not man enough to have some sportmanship when some one comes in and has a good week against them, Makes us all look real good.

I am glad he took the title, shove it up all the people that put him down.

Great bowling Gu, I only wish I could be as accurate or as consistent. As a matter of face I think we all do, even some of the PBA guys.

I agree completely with the above comments. I was surprised to see Bill O whine about how the lanes were broke down. C'mon you played wrong part of the lane. In your win the other week you played it right and made others look like fools. Man up and admit you were wrong. The lane is an inanimate object. Put on some dry pull up's and try again next week.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

The guy did a great job keeping the ball in play in all 4 matches. I think the only problem was that this guy whose style looks like the typical house bowler whupped O'neil's and Belmonte's tails.

I thought it was great seeing Gu win... and for once I think Rob Stone's nickname "Dr. Gu" was actually decent... although it did remind me of a character from 007

I didn't think Gu was all that accurate, yanked a few (even had a Jersey) and pitched few out. He did what Norton did the week before and just broke it down good for himself. It will either be feast or famine if there is only 1 lefty on the show, lately it's been their feast. But remember Scroggins had famine when he needed it most last year.

I understand how Bill was feeling though with his comment about the guys not breaking the lanes down the right way. Seems if you have all the righties go all over the place, their margin becomes smaller and smaller. Kind of hard to beat someone when they have a small bit of room out there. I'm greatly interested in seeing the practice before the title match to see what Kim was doing at the time. That spot of the lane didn't see much friction until Belmo got there. MacLelland never got his ball to read early enough. Then O'neill didn't seem to of had much out there because the track area was still a little messy, and left of that hooked. But if he moved too deep he would of trapped himself in too wide of entry angles. Seemed to me Belmo moved straighter into the messy part to see if he could use that as hold, sadly that Tropical Heat never wrinkled (all this being speculation).

A lefty stroker that goes straight up 5 is always called a hack.  Whatever, I've dealt with it enough in my life...

I was psyched to see Gu win -  that's two in a row for lefty strokers.  You righties with a lot of hand don't have to worry - no lefties next week on Shark...

As far as technique and style as wrongsiders are concerned....huge difference between Scroggy and Gu vs. PBIII.

He has a road runner style to the line, but his balance was good.  I was a little shocked that other people were calling him a hack and stuff, but that just shows how much of an elitist sport bowling is.

I guess I just forget that anytime a right hander or any other pro wins a tournament they NEVER MISS splitting boards or get any kind of solid break.  Joke, sarcasm, whatever.
