The scoring pace is always very high at the T of C. Being from New England, I used to make a trip to Bradley Bowl and Mohegan Sun for the tournament every year with some buddies, and the scores were stupid every year.
I forget who I overheard explaining it (maybe it was Barnes), but despite the length of the pattern, the volume is relatively low. Therefore, it's just a matter of matching up with equipment, staying soft with the speed, and not pitching it to the right. Guys just keep chasing the pattern in and the scores explode as the blocks wear on.
