if you look at the money list for this year, once you get past the top 30 or so bowlers, these guys are grossing only around $2,000 a week . . . throw in expenses of travel, hotels, meals, etc., these guys can't be doing much better than breaking even, maybe netting $1,000 a week at best.  further down the list, these guys are losing money, net of expenses.  and they're the best of the best?

how much do the pba players get for equipment endorsements??  how much are the incentives for making the show and/or winning, if any?  in other words, how do they make any real money?
