In the second frame of his 4 th game did Walter Williams throw a gutter ball.

I also notice that he had a open frame of 8 missing that extra one pin out of two. This is not to down grade Walter's game but to know and realized that even the best of us will have a bad moment.  Like Jabroni said it: "I don't care how accurate one is....it is possible."

The gutter could have been a foul.  Wes Malott did that to miss a 300 a few years ago, ending up with 290.  I think it was the week that Liz Johnson made the show, as he fouled several times on the show as well.  WRW slides pretty close to the foul line, he could have missed by just a pinch.

As for the 8-1, it might have been a split.  They don't mark splits, so you never know what the story was.

Confirmed it on the PBA board, he threw it in the channel. I've never seen him ever do this reguardless where or how he's playing the lanes. That's unbelieveable.
