You can be nervous and still succeed under pressure

I wonder where his wife is?  Didn't see her on the telecast today.  Also, don't recall seeing her at Baltimore when the PBA was in our area.

Tracy was in the audience since game 2. Near front row right side of the screen.

I don't think that's what he meant -- either last year or the year before, I saw Pete interviewed and he himself talked about getting nervous on TV. A lot of great athletes go through that. Read Ken Stabler's book "Snake" about the old Oakland Raiders -- Fred Biletnikoff used to be a nervous, puking wreck before every game, but he still performed and is one of the best ever.

Where did is back swing go is my question. I Don't think it is a different guy or attitude bowling, maybe he doesn't like the equipment? Or could be just struggling on t.v. He will get over it.

I noticed the same thing. And his backswing looked like it hit different heights throughout the match. Maybe that was by design, I don't know.

Weber made it to the TV finals.  So im thinking he's still got plenty of game left!  He just didn't bowl a great game on TV.  I'm sure Weber will win some more titles before he's done.

What does being nervous have to do with winning?

Even Randy Pederson made a comment about talking to PDW and he even admitted that he was nervous!

I think he had more pressure this time around because it was a tournament named in his fathers honor. Not to say he isn't nervous in the other tournaments, but I think he had extra pressure last week.
