Tough to think that Norm Duke, who isn't much more than about 10 title behind WRW, wouldn't have the best chance of catching up based on his performance over the past two seasons.

This is the number one thing, and all the people who are close are going to go out same time as him: Parker, Norm, etc.

Now, if you want to talk realistically, it'd probably have to be a young gun, who's going to be at it long after Walter is done.

It would have to be someone who is just coming out on tour and off to a hot start. To think someone who has been out on tour for awhile would be tough. I would think someone fresh like Rash or Paige POSSIBLY could be it would be very difficult to do. I can't even see either one of them coming close to WRW however. Would love to see Parker do it but I can see him retiring in a few years.

I agree.

Power players seem to burn out with injury and the guys near him now may simply burn out with Father Time.

yea I agree that power players burn out fast but O'Neil and some other young guns like Paige arent what I consider power players. I think if anyone can do it would be Norm but he showed up at the World Championship but has not seem to make it back in.

I would say Norm or Weber have the best chance but I just don't think anyone is going to catch him. I think he at least takes 7 more titles before hes done.

Bohn,Duke and Weber are 14 or 15 titles behind.

They are both in their mid-40's. If you assume that Walter is almost done because of age then they are getting close as well. They would have to win 4 to 5 titles a year to catch him.

Bohn and Weber haven't won more than a title a year the last several seasons. Duke has a tendency to get hurt.

Even though I don't like to say this, the young guns might not have a tour to catch him. Of the ones that are close, I don't think they will catch him. Think about how the tour has declined over the last few years and it may be a moot point. Just my 2 cents.
