Is bowling that un-saleable?

How bad of shape must professional bowling be in?
We have had the stupid skills challenge the last two years now they have invented another game to show on TV, bust your buddy.
They must feel the sport its self can’t hold an audience. There is plenty of time for another match if they eliminate all the fluff.
If they really cared about the bowlers they would get another bowler on the show so that extra bowler could get some TV money from a ball manufacture.
I get bored between matches watching all this drivel. This week was great with 4 matches on instead of 3.
During a golf telecast they don’t hold special competitions to see who can cut a 5 iron around a tree and closet to the pin.
In tennis they don’t have can you hit the ball boy between sets.
They don’t break between quarters in basketball for who can hit a hook shot from ¾ court.

Actually...yes they do, it just is not usually televised. The same thing holds true in some other sports. You should see some of the drivel we have been treated to between quarters and television time-outs at the UT games.
I'm sure my opinion would change if *I* were one of the ones selected to shoot a free-throw from a recliner though...

it all depends on the salesman IMO! They have kept Pedersen and Ryan as there commentators for sundays, the viewing audience will continue to be low. Personally, I WATCH it with the sound muted!
