From last years knuckleballs to todays difficulty at the foul line.

I thought today he revved it ok(unlike later last year)....but he seemed to be sticking at the line(and afraid of sticking) and as a result he was dumping a little. Not only that but he got some bad breaks on carry!

I still like his good throwin!

Just because you dont like somebodys appearance or their physical game, shouldnt give you the right to continue to bash somebody. I realize he made some comments on the Masters show last year that had everybody in an uproar, but anybody that knows Mike realizes that those comments were tongue in cheek. Mike is a very good guy and extremley talented.

Just remember, the only reason why you are bashing him is because you are WATCHING HIM BOWL ON TV

Especially since he came roaring back from like 13th to 2nd.... Also, it's easy to bash someone when you have never done what they are attempting. Bowling on TV can't be easy....

From a previous post I will hand it to ya, Mike looks better than last year but, he is still "Mr. fluff and Dump" to me. Instead of 4 revs in the ball he might have 6 or 7 now. LOL!!!!!!!

Jokes aside, he wasnt all that bad to watch like he was last year.

I hate seeing him struggle on TV Finals day. He deserves alot more then what hes gotten in the past. I might have made a couple rude comments last year but that was before I really got to talk to him, after ive talked with him I have nothing but respect.

If the bashing continues on this thread, I will close it so if you cant contribute with the topic on hand then please dont respond. Thank You.

Thanks,I just see a few people on here talking about people were bashing him.I feel like I might have fanned the flames by being one of the first to reply.I think you started it just to point out how he was struggling during his match,not to bash him,like others did.

Yeah I knew anything scroggins related would turn into a bash fest, if it continues I will handle it by topic closure. Simple as that. I wasnt making the post for that reason, I wanted to see if anyone else noticed the same thing I did.

Granted I was looking forward to a Mallot - Barnes match up but damn I don't like to see anyone struggle the way Scroggins has. He may need to get a live chicken to break whatever curse someone put on him.

I too was looking forward to a Malott/Barnes final, but I do feel bad for Mike. Its obvious that he is one the tour's best bowlers, as evidenced by the fact that he is near the top every week during qualifying and match play. Unfortunately it seems that he runs into a brick wall as soon as the bright lights of TV come on. I hope he soon figures it out, because when he does, he is gonna be a handful for anyone he bowls against...will make for much better TV than 239-177 blowout.

I do not care to watch him, but I will say he's there and we are not, for that, I will give him what he deserves. Respect for his abilities.

Do I care for his comment last year...no.
Would I pay to watch him..no.
Do I respect his ability to be where he is...Yes.

I do wish him better luck in the next events but a person does pay for what he says.
Good Luck Mr Scroggins in the next events.
