Criticism isn't necessarily from the thought that we could do better, it's a result of a professional's failure to meet the standard put on themselves by their skill level. Any time you do not perform how you should, criticism will come into play. Barnes has showed a high level of skill by making tv show after tv show, but undeniably finds ways to prevent himself from winning. He is exceeding the standard by making so many shows, but is well under the standard as far as tv wins. Do I think I could do better? No. Do I think I deserve to be there? No. Do I think I could make better decisions? Maybe. But I'm here watching and observing everything. He is in the MOMENT in the midst of pressure, and the full responsibility for his actions and decisions awaiting him. We have nothing to win or lose by sitting at home eating donuts and yelling at the pros. Their success or lack thereof could hinge on something as seemingly small as a decision to make a ball change.
