He still pops up from time to time, but, obviously, he's too busy to be a regular. I'm sure you'll start hearing from him again before too long when he posts a new batch of balls to sell for his charity work.

good points hopefully he does become quite regular over summer cause I doubt i'm the only one who wants to hear about how he thinks the season was breaking through for his first title (in a very tough event I would like to add) and now we can call him a champion without idiots saying "no he hasn't won" i would love to hear things he can give as advice to bowlers who someday would like to be on tour and so on...

You can read his journals on his website, if you're a fan of his like me they're a must read!!!! http://www.jeffcarterbowling.com/Journals/20082009LLPBATour/20082009Denver.html

I agree that Jeff's journals are a great read, but it sure takes a long time after each event to get them posted.

Just an FYI......Jeff is not bowling this weekends Midwest regional in Madison, WI.  At least he's not on the roster.  http://www.pba.com/regional/listing.asp?ID=8&TID=1922

Phew, good thing we got that straightened out, I was on pins and needles. Or not.

I enjoy watching the best players in the game bowl especially in person. You do understand that Jeff bowls the majority of Midwest Regionals.....or maybe NOT.

I heard that Jeff is spending the weekend at home with his kids.

It was a long season and it took a lot out of me. I spent a few days in Vegas watching my friends bowl the USBCs, and now I need to start getting treatment on both elbows due to serious tendonitis. My plan is to bowl the DuBuque and Willowbrook regionals, but i really need to evaluate how healthy I am each and every week. The summer is much shorter this year and I need to be ready for the World Series of Bowling in Detroit.

As for the comment on the Journals...no worries. I totally understand and I myself wish I could get them done quicker. They are just very time consuming, especially the line scores. I'm hoping to write the last 2 sometime soon.

As far as me being a regular poster....i'm on here pretty much every day. I like to read whats going on here and there. If anybody has a question about anything, feel free to send me a message or simply post it. I always try to answer everything as fast as I can.

Don't worry Jeff, its a plus that you take time to answer some peoples questions on this site. You don't have to but you do, its a credit to you.
By the way congrats on winning your first title, and hope there are many more to come.

I just saw Jeff on TV tonight, ESPN Classic.
Ryan Shafer bowled 300 against him.
Yeah, what can you do, he was pretty lined up that game, till it broke down against Duke in the Finals.

Jeff,
Not sure if you were aware of this already but the marathon journal that is posted on your site doesn't have any of your comments, it just says "text" everywhere.  Just wanted to let you know and thanks for the journals I enjoy reading them.

There was no criticism intended in my post.  Just that I enjoy your journals so much.

Jeff, with the World Series of Bowling this summer for you, how will your schedule look as far as clinics and lessons? Thanks.

The WSoB should give me some more flexibility as far as camps/clinics and lessons. I'll be on the road during the month of August and the first week or 2 in september, but that gives me the months before and the 3 months after to get some work in. All I need is some interested parties and we can start the booking process. I'm starting back to work coaching next week, so if anybody is interested in putting a clinic together, coming to Springfield for lessons or simply taking advantage of my online coaching / arsenal assembly programs....let me know and we will do whatever neccessary to try and accommodate you.

Maybe some would (or do under an alias), but won't because of the grammar police bullies on this site.  The miscellaneous non-bowling & the lane 1 threads may keep these guys from coming on as much.  I may be wrong, but JMO.  I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if they eliminated the misc. non-bowl forum somewhere in the future.

Jeff...I truly enjoy reading your journals for all the events and I (we all) appreciate that you take the time to post them for us and answer any questions that we have for you.  We're all lucky to have a guy like you that is willing to come on these boards and be an active member.

Thank you very much.....and I want to wish you the very best of lucky next season...I'm definitely gonna keep my fingers crossed for titles #2 and 3.
