He shot 135 that game - but came back with a 259 and won the match.
Maybe when he realized he was completely out of it, he started fishing, since total pins don't mean anything anymore...

many do this

thats why avg is sometimes misleading

once they are out of it-they throw strikeballs only and changes ball lines alot

125,175 whats the difference a loss is a loss.

lots of fishing knowadays

look at the 9-10 frames fo most games-if they lose, lots of opens-why?

I think a lot of people do this.

On tuesday after five frames I was lost and couldn't find a solid line to the pocket so i decided instead of doing that all night I started moving my feet and making ball changes. After 3 frames I found that moving a little right and throwing my old Turbo X i couldn't miss the pocket. I shot a 156 first game and after a little fishing I threw a 233 and 255 the next two. Sometimes you have to experiement and ruin one game's score for the greater good and to squeak out at least a 600 for the night.
