ELITE IN THE NEWS
Elite Bowling International is proud to announce the addition of Robert Smith to its PBA National Tour staff. Robert owns six Denny's PBA National Tour titles, including 2000 U.S. Open Champion and 2002 Japan Cup Champion and nine PBA Regional Tour Titles. With $688,246.00 in PBA winnings since turning pro in 1998, "Maximum Bob" is known for throwing one of the most powerful balls on tour.

Coming off of a lower back injury which sidelined him for the majority of the 2006-07 season, Robert has been working hard to once again position himself for championship contention. "I feel like I'm getting a fresh start teaming up with Elite. In preparing myself for a comeback, I wanted to make sure I was ready physically, mentally and have the best equipment possible in my hands. I have trained hard and through extensive testing I have come to the conclusion that Elite will help me attain my goals. I couldn't be more excited." Robert Smith, 6-Time PBA National Champion.

"Robert's passion for the game, along with his tremendous talent, is a welcome addition to the Elite team. We are excited to be a part of his comeback and look forward to a terrific year." Nick Melnikoff, CEO of Elite.

Robert joins 2007 PBA Western Region Points Leader Curtis Woods in representing Elite full time on the Denny's PBA National Tour and PBA Hall of Famer Brian Voss, who will be competing on a limited schedule.
