New blood
« on: December 19, 2005, 04:54:35 AM »
Someone mentioned that it was nice to see some new blood on the show this week.  Interesting that Jack Jurek is "new blood", considering that his first TV appearance was in 1986.  How soon we forget.

I believe 1995.  It's just hard to think of a 20 year veteran as new blood.  New to the current show, yes, but he's an old dog (who seems to have learned a few new tricks, based on how he looked throwing it in '86).

Mario--JJ is "new blood" for those that are newer to the sport or haven't been paying attention.  Or maybe they mean it in the way not the same ole guys each week.

TJ had a good run earlier, Big Wes a couple of shows, Scroggs has been the most prolific, Duke the other one with many shows.  No WRW and some others come to mind.

When, I see guys in a slump not making shows to me it's usally their equipment, roll ins't matching up to the condition well.

The difference between top and 2/3 the way down is very close right now.  Bottom 1/3 are the bottom feeders.  Wish I was a carp.
