Going out on a limb and saying that "slow hooking" the middle must have been in play.

it's safe to assume that ol' tippy toes found a way to play his "a" game-----excuse me, found a way to score with his game.

You mean his "only" game....sorry I have just never been a fan of his.  He's the most one dimensional player on tour I have seen in a while....

He has developed a straight game. I was a witness to it. It was on May 5th when I saw last year at a little tournament in Aberdeen, OH that I was fortunate to bowl because of the tournament director allowing me to bowl. He was on the lane to my right the whole day and we were on a 37 foot 1.5 to 1 ratio oil pattern. And for almost all the day he went straight up 6 with a Total NV.

russell, i agree with you. i think it's safe to assume that kretzer is basically too one dimensional to be a dominant player on tour. kasimakis had the same problem.

Sure he can play up 6...but can he do it with any success?  His inability to crack an egg on anything but the longer patterns is proof.

in todays pba, if you can't dominate from straight down the one board to inside the 5th arrow you'll be sent home early. you had better make your spares as well.
