actually in the first part of this thread someone mentioned mike mineman, i bowled with him 10-15 years ago in league and he still operates bowling shop here, he had a beautiful aproach and was very good, so yeah age caught up with him and doesn't get no where near how he used to. i have to laugh bc everybody said the trabers likethey were reading my mind. and of course wrw with his goofy approach and if he misses looks like a lil kid with hand in pocket and looks like he kicking dirt walkn back. ritchie allen, y let the ball touch the lane just heav it in mid air to the pins. almost all the players that make it to tv evry 2 to 3 years and they look so seriious and take the game slower than what it should be. yeah i know they trying to make their 15 minutes of fame but just sucks the life out of watching the program. o and the next time shaefer gets on tv will be too soon. 1 more time got to hear him whine about he doesnt get respect and pederson makes excuses bc he is diabetic. if it was that bad for him he wouldnt be out there day in and day out so that shouldnt be an excuse.

I see you're NOT a diabetic, are you?  And he's never used it as an excuse, as far as I know.  Get off his back about that.  Maybe Peterson is pointing out that diabetics can do the same things that you do.  Geez.

have u heard pederson talk he throws it out there for when he starts to get bad breaks or bowling bad. if you read my point i said if diabetes really was a factor only shaeffer would know that and he wouldnt be out there day in and day out, so technically i am complimenting him on that and yes my dad has diabetes and takes shots before he eats so i know what it does.
and its not just shaeffer, pederson seems to throw excuses out to bowlers when they arent bowling well all the time. just listen to how he talks through a program and then when and if the bowler gets hot he makes another excuse to dig himself out of his original excuse.

If you're saying Pederson does that for every bowler, then why are you specifically calling out Shafer for it?  That doesn't make any sense.

And for what it's worth, I remember an old telecast (maybe the 2001 Louisville show) where they mentioned how Ryan Shafer has to be extremely careful about when he eats, etc. or he has trouble making it through a block during tournaments.  So I guess the diabetes is a bit of a factor...

Both Scroggins (remember, he had a brother who is identical who bowls worse than he does), both trabers, haugen, mccune, Hugh Miller, major mika, mike devaney, mike fagan, billy oatman

do you guys have freaking common sense?? if the diabetes was a factor with shaeffer he would know when to quit or pull out of a tournament. again and again and now again he wouldnt be doing this day in and day out you morons. i was saying shaeffer in beginning bc as this topic is named people you dont like watching so i used him , hence someone i dont like to watch. as for pederson he does this quite often with bowlers who are just bowling bad for the most part. sure sometimes he dont but for most part he does make random excuses. just because your a "pro" isnt an automatic freedom from saying hey im having a bad day of bowling. the bowlers themselves admit it and all im sayiong is why cant pederson just say it instead of making lousy excuses.

You're getting boring here.  Diabetics (as you should be aware with your dad) have good days and bad days like everybody else, and I'm pretty sure Shaffer knows how to prepare for a set.  He also threw in the ToC this year with basically the flu if I remember right.  Following your logic, that shouldn't be an excuse either...

and yeah its official bunch morons, if he would have withdrew from that or any tournament due to illness or diabetes then HE can decide that, im saying PEDERSON is making the excuse for him and making excuses for other bowlers just bc they are bowling bad. and do you withdraw from league nite when you arent feeling good, i usually make it when i dont feel good and if bowling was my main income i would be out there. i have bowld some my best series being sick bc i just bowl. i dont overthink or anything just bowl. so yes this getting boring bc your not getting my points just a certain word or 2. like i said these are regular people that can do something  better then i but yet arent gods so yes they can and do bowl bad games and its not just  transition or whatever. WE all have bad games in evry sport and evrybody.
