belmonte - bowling's savior?
« on: February 20, 2009, 04:16:49 AM »
if one were to look at the pba website, or even listen to the weekly telecast there are an overwhelming number of belmonte references, videos, photos and articles.  IMO the powers that be in the PBA are wishing for Belmonte to succeed as the next marketable superstar - bowling's tiger woods.
Belmonte has everything that it takes to be a superstar - he is young, powerful, has personality, brings a unique style and has amazing potential.  He is somebody that people want to see.  There is not a person alive today with the possibly to elevate bowling in the mainstream the way that Jason Belmonte could.

Bowling's real savior will be whichever marketing genius can figure out how to make the current form of bowling sell as ENTERTAINMENT.

Trying to promote bowling as a sport will not work in today's day and age.

who allowed the game to be played with 2 hands in the 1st place?
any idiot would know that a ball that is delivered with 2 hands is bound to have more as compared to a 1 hand delivery(speaking from a scientific point of view)

so how could he be dubbed a the "saviour"??

does not make any sense in any logical manner at all
