The emotion of Randy Pederson
« on: June 24, 2005, 08:03:17 AM »
I have been really getting into these forums lately so i wanted to share something with you all.  I was just watching the milestones clip on the 2003 Philadelphia Open from when Randy won his last title and for me it was really heartbreaking.  I'm sure most of you have met Randy at some point and we can all agree how great of a guy he is.  He has so much knowledge and a deep love for the game.  This is a true story that I wanted to share.  I spent the whole weekend at Mohegan Sun for the TOC and I watched Randy throw every shot in that tournament.  About an hour after the TV finals, I was waiting for my car outside the hotel at valet parking and Randy came out.  I took a picture with him, talked for a good 10 minutes about things, and to me, I could see how upset he was, and it kinda gets me upset too.  Randy is one of the best bowlers I have ever seen in my life, and I hate how he keeps coming up short of being with us on the exempt tour.  There is nothing that will have me more pumped up than if he would come through the PTQ and win a tournament this year.  Please post responses.

I crossed with Randy in the one National stop that I bowled back in 1986.  Great guy, and very helpful to rank guests such as me.
