His left side is paralyzed, but, somehow I'd almost be willing to bet he'll bowl again. "Spirit" is everything.

what a drag. i can remember when roth and holman would go at it. it was like ali, frazier of bowling. the 1st real crankmaster.

I been friends with Mark for 30 years he's a trooper he'll fight hard to over come this crises. I love my friend God be with Bocheck See you soon. Hal E.

I agree with everyone else here what a sad thing to hear. Have you heard how he is doing at all?

This is really sad. I have no knowledge specifically on what in his lifestyle caused such a sad medical condition. I hope he heals up soon. I am surprised that his finances are in such bad shape being he won millions, had ball contracts, apparel contracts, had a book or two released,  and the like, but many celebrities in sports, entertainment, and music who made millions lost all of it.

Sometimes with strokes, it's nothing you do. I played in a band in college with a guy a couple of years older than me (meaning he's not 40 yet) who had a minor stroke at 35. He was a total straight-edge kind of guy, too -- no drugs, no alcohol. He was about 20-30 pounds overweight, but so is three-quarters of the population.

Sometimes the chamber stops spinning and the barrel has a bullet in it with your name on it.
