TJ's Drilling
« on: February 20, 2006, 05:37:43 AM »
What is his drilling supposed to do:

pin about 2 inches above ring finger, cg rught of ring finger about 1 inch, mb in strong position... i guess the ball is drilled with much deeper finger holes so he can put a weighthole where he is supposed to do...

i think that his drilling should be a vely late drilling, but when i was watching him playing with this ball it was extreemly early and agressive....

thanks

Its making 250 average every time you bowl

While the stuff I have drilled lately isn't as extreme as TJ's, I have been putting pins 1 inch to 2 inches above my ring finger a decent amount lately.  It allows me to get the ball through the heads better.  The backend reaction is fairly mild, but not weak by any means for me.  I have to make sure I get the cg out enough on this layout for me or else the ball will most often go too long and miss the point on most patterns I bowl.  It just never tilts for me.  I learned that with a Smokin Inferno.  Ooops!!!    Billy O from Brunswick told me to try this layout and I use it a lot now,
