If you noticed Wendy's ball and lay-out was the only ball Randy Petersen didn't talk about, other than mentioning she was using Columbia.

I don't think it was.

To my eyes, the pin was (almost) on the negative side and the CG was too high and too angled. I'd guess the PAP-pin-CG/MB angle was more like 30 degrees.

Yeah.  That ball rolled terrible or should I say never really got into a roll.  I can't believe how that game ended.

It looked like she was getting around the ball too early. The ball was still spinning on impact.

I am almost positive it was a Rico layout. She has been working with these alot more lately.

The reason the ball was still spinning going through the pins was because they were on 40 feet with a pretty good volume. The ball just never thought about getting into a roll to much, she never could really find the dry early enough.

But as usual champions do what they have to do. She got up in the 9th and 10th and threw strikes somehow!! Putting some pressure on and winning. Congrats to Wendy!

It looked like it was a Loud noize with a bunch of surface. And when it did get to the hole it was DOA. It just didnt look like it was making a good transition from hook to roll

cg was kicked out to far to be a rico drilling.

Dont think it had anything to do with the amount of volume of oil that was used, the female commentator even mentioned that it was a lighter volume of oil.    

Maybe the reaction that Wendy had earlier in the week with that ball worked better compared to what she experienced during the match.    The lanes I am sure changed a bit with the practice and the 2 matches prior to the ladies bowling.    Both girls looked kind of lost and really couldnt get anything going.....

I honestly fast forwarded thru that match. I normally like to watch the ladies but that match was boring and as bad as Wendy thru the ball, its hard to believe she won..

Nation gave it away, thats for sure..

Yes. I didn't think it did much at all.
When you come in at the angle she was trying, most balls carry well, but she was rather erratic.

No I was looking into possibly getting one of these.  I don't need it, but I was thinking of punching one up for the State tournie, but ehhh, probably not now.  I'm sure it's a good ball on china, but the states put out something tougher, and that ball looked like dookie in her hands.

She looked good though
