Title: Might be a dumb question but....

Do non staff bowlers have to pay for their equipment? If so do they get discounts or something...i've always wondered...Someone care to elaborate?

A lot of it depends on who you are.  I'm pretty sure the independents like WRW and Duke rarely, if ever, pay for a bowling ball.  The other free agents pay for some, usually cost, and will get some comped.
