just wondering if anyone knows what he is throwing at the usbc masters?
-
Not sure about the entire tournament, but he was throwing a Track SiC for awhile during match play when the lanes burnt up.
-
When I was watching I saw him throwing a Motiv Venom Shock a lot
-
He was throwing the Shock for sure.
He is a tour rep now for Motiv so I'm not sure how he was throwing a Tour Sic?
-
when they showed his arsenal on TV, there were a few storm pieces on his list
-
I saw that too. Motiv shirt for the show but Storm balls in the arsenal.
-
I think DeVaney is still a free agent. I looked on the Motiv site for their regional/pro staffers and pro shop staff and didn't find him listed. For BowlersDeals.com, he has been doing a lot of testing videos with Motiv equipment but then he has been throwing other brands on there too.
-
Brett Spangler is Motiv's tour rep
-
AJ johnson who worked in the pro shop I went to when he was in high school really struggled with condition. The PSO was there and sent a message that the lanes blew up so bad so quick that none of them expected it to be the way it was. It was a learning experience for AJ and if you guys don't know of him, remember his name he will be back. He is a great kid with great support structure.

What was the white spare ball Mike was using?

Viz a Ball

Companies have multiple tour reps and Devaney was in fact repping for them fall of 14.

@justrico
Thanks!
-
Companies have multiple players throwing their equipment doesn't make them staffers

A few of them need some schooling in matchplay. Belmonte is starting to show his mastery of match play. He has Rash and and Weber at his mercy. Weber loves to try to out psch his oppenents but it don't work on Belmonte.
-
I was surprised that I didn't see him throw some Radical stuff.
-
Ditto on Bullred's comments. Towel incident.....
As to Mike Devaney, I felt the low Flare Venom shock didn't quite have enough motor for his roll at the time. I was so impressed with his change of speed and roll at the end of the match to start striking.
Reminding me of the awesome Wiseman who I hardly ever felt lost but only ran out of time! As it seemed he would go on similar strike strings at the end of games to almost catch or would catch his opponent.
These guys, can often find a different roll or line so quickly even on these tricky conditions. They are really something when they are finally comfortable on TV.
I expect to see him win a few more!

Not being sarcastic when I say this. Thanks for letting me know who won so I don't have to watch HIM!!
-
NOt sure whom the last post was for...I am not convinced in reviewing all the posts that I can figure out who won the tournament in this thread.
I think there are other threads out here which give that away.

How about this one?
-
? Ummmm maybe. I think you protest to much. I don't know if that got you to the winner.

PS I DVR the matches also.

If you know the story, let's just be glad he kept his shirt on.
