So with Storm Nation and Roto Grip domination this year what bowler do you think would have done alot better throwing Utah instead of ebonite, brunswick, columiba or etc...
Me, I think Tommy Jones would have killed them this year with some Utah Stuff.

Sean Rash would have also dominated throwing Utah if you ask me.

Forgive my ignorance...which company is in Utah? (I'm presuming that you're referring to manufacturer located in Utah.)

Storm is in Utah, so Roto Grip is there too.

I Wanna see some one like T.J. or Sean Rash throw MoRich.
I don't think storm is as far above the curb as what they are made out to be.

It's hard to tell since we don't know how well they would match up with Storm/Roto equipment. For some reason I think PA could have done well if he stuck with Storm instead of going back and forth but then again he has done well with Hammer. I will change it up a bit. For some reason I would love to see PDW or Couch tossing the Big B. I know it will never happen but I would just love to see what kind of reaction they would get.

PDW would look terrible with Big B. He needs the long strong look that only storm can give. I would like to see Walter Ray with Roto though.

WRW Jr. & Doug Kent ala PA would do well w/Storm. I think Mika & Bohn III would do well w/Roto.

STORM... are u Kidding me? STORM? I just hope it its hard enough to knock pins down.LOL
I know I get laughed at for thinking Mo is just as good as Storm but I think MoRich is over looked and under rated by alot of bowlers. Especially people that dont have good ball drillers, Mo's stuff is very drill specific so if you, get one and it is drilled just a touch off it won't work right at all. ( NOT SAYING WRW's STUFF IS DRILLED WRONG.) I just don't think Storm and Roto are that far ahead really, Not that they do BAD gear but just that they are not as far ahead. (Sorry Britton)
Rember back in the day when Columbia was the king? eventually they fell so will Storm and Roto, then someone else will rise. Just how it goes.

It is how it happens any company that has risen in the past has fallen from favor eventually. You can keep dreaming about them staying up then I guess, Remeber how the Paradigms went?

I've always wanted to see Chris Barnes go back with Brunswick. Though he makes columbia equipment look so good, i think with Brunswick's great variety of equipment right now he could be even more dominant then he already is.

Though storm/roto has had some great stuff lately, you shouldn't underestimate the other brands, i've always been loyal to ebo int, and i love their equipment
-
Storm rolls better on tour b/c the volumes of oil are down this year. They were higher a few years ago, thats when the absolute inferno and vapor zones dominated. Its a cycle

I don't know about you, but my carry with Storm gear is amazing, even with my lack of rev rate. Morich stuff is SO condition-specific that it either carries everything, or carries NOTHING. I quit using my Awesome Revs altogether because it's so picky about what kind of conditions it wants to carry the 10 pin. Storm isn't amazingly way better than the other companies, don't get me wrong. But their equipment is not the corner-pin-leaving garbage you seem to always think it is.

I wanna see Robert Smith with a Rogue Cell.. That would be worth watching.

Ahh But I have my opinion and your entitled to yours but in my experinece throwing strom and watching people throw strom is corner pins, and poor carry in general, I don't think Mo is has shot specific as you seem to say it is, I have used my LevRG across multiple conditions from Meduims all the way up to the heavy stuff, Same witn both Nsanes most of my Mo stuff works like that. I have a high rev rate and may have a easier time getting their stuff to work across different conditions, the Cores Mo uses may not help you with that cause they are SO strong.
It all depends on style, I don't think storm is that great if you do fine whatever that is cool. I will stick with Mo, Cause I usally beat people throwing storm when i am throwing Mo!!

Exactly why I find Morich stuff condition-specific. With my Awesome Revs, if the cover is too rough, it's flat 10 city since the ball wants to rev up and straighten out so early. But if I have the cover too shiny, the ball gets too much length and snaps too hard off the spot to be controllable, and then it starts leaving flat 10s and high 4 pins. I finally just retired it since it was starting to crack out from the pin pretty badly anyway.
-
jones, couch, or bob smith would be nice to see a high speed and rev bowler rip the cover off the storm stuff
-
How quickly you forget that Robert Smith was ripping the covers off Storm stuff only 2 years ago.
-
So true I remember watching Maximum Bob throwing a Hot Rod Hybrid for a title a few years ago.

how about our President..?

I think Rash would have been the biggest benefactor this year were he throwing Storm.
I also think the person who said Weber would do well WITHOUT Storm may be onto something. Pete's release creates all the length he needs. I think he would do very well with Brunswick/Lane #1/MoRich stuff. I used to throw nothing but Storm but working with a coach to change my release (which resulted in me starting to throw with high axis rotation numbers like Weber has), that's when other gear started matching up better for me. I still throw Storm but it's no longer my "A" option.
Mika needs to make a change just for the sake of it. Really doesn't matter where he goes right now but the last couple of times I've seen him on TV he looks like he's in matchup hell.
