Sunday July 2nd - 12:00 pm, King Pin Lanes in Springfield, Il will be hosted our annual Pre-Tournament Sweeper. Since this year is the Member/Non-Member doubles you will be bowing for prize money only ( although part of the prize money can be forwarded into the Mary Teubner Memorial Open ). Last year we had 36 entries and we're hoping for more this year. You will be bowling 8 games across 8 pairs on PBA pattern #2 ( with a Kegel Sanction machine ). There will be brackets and sidepots available, as well as 50/50 tickets and a ball raffle. All PBA members and non PBA members are welcome. Since there are no tournaments in our region that weekend, this would be a good opportunity to bowl in a PBA style event for decent prize money. We will be paying 1 in 4 entries and the event will be USBC sanctioned. PBA rules and dress codes will be in effect, since this is supposed to be part of the "main event". All of the proceeds from the tournament, 50/50 drawing and ball raffle will go to benefit the tournament charity. The entry fee is $85.00 and can be paid by cash or check ( made payable to : Mary Teubner Memorial Open ). The prize fund is as follows :

6th - $100.00

keep in mind, the more entries we get the higher the prize fund goes. I'm also working on finding a sponsor that will kick a little added money into the sweeper.
