In your opinion who will have a break out season this year on the tour?

I think Dino and Bill O'Neil will have a good year.

What does the term breakout mean to you?  If, it's a player that has lanquished for a few years and have not won for awhile <ie. Brad Angelo, Robert Smith <injured>, TJ, etc.>.

Guys like Duke yadda...yadda can't have break out years because they never broke down.   Least that's the way I take it.

Rookies to even make a show would be great much less winning.  Rooting for Chad Kloss to make a show.

I have only seen Chad Kloss a couple of times and each time he seemed to have a bad attitude.  I know you guys will tell me that he may have had a bad day, blah blah blah...But, a friend of mine that was on tour and someone we know out there doesn't like him either.  Maybe my opinion is a little biased, but what do you guys think.  Sorry Chad...First impressions a doosy.

Didn't TJ win twice last year?  The Tournament of Champions, even.  Last event of the season.  Admittedly, he wasn't the unstoppable beast of the year before, but he did have a neck injury that seems to have cleared up nicely.  10th in points, fourth in earnings.  Not exactly seeing the languishing, ya know?

I say Steve Jaros.....he's been lighting it up all summer in the Regionals. Now that he's not throwing Dyno-Thane he's got alot more options.

Comet,
It does not matter what Jaros throws, you can put a Black Beauty in his
hand and he can win tournaments. Dynothane made some great equipment.

Rhino, is going to be bowling TQR's we all know how hard it is to make a show, even win a title from the TQR's.

Ronnie Russell could have a pretty good year this year! Alot of expierence on those patterns for the most part.

Wouldn't mind seeing Rash make a couple shows!

Again, it matters greatly.  They can throw a cinderblock down the lane and carry a 240 average on a wall.  But on difficult shots with skilled, knowledgeable opponents, matching up to the right equipment can make the difference between going to Tour Trials and being 6th in the points list.

Undoubtedly Steve Jaros could throw anything he wants to and average 215 on tour.  But it's not just about scoring high, it's about making cuts, beating your opponents.  Carrying that one extra strike in three or four games can make the difference and having the right equipment that you match up with will make all the difference.

Yeah, Rhino's got the gift, he'll make it out of several tqr's and deep into the later rounds.

I predicted Tommy Jones to win the POY two seasons ago and got that right. I went with him again last season. I think he will have a very good year...I'm predicting at least 3 titles. He's also been very close last two tournaments of the USBC Masters. I look for him again to be the favorite. Another POY? It's hard to say now because the way the PBA changed it from voting to most points. This is better anyways.
I would have picked Chad Kloss by a mile to win the rookie of the year award but was told by Shafer that he already has too many tournaments from the PTQ. I still think that rule is stupid, it should apply for exempt players only. This is also why if the rules made sense then Sean Rash should have won it.

joe ciccone!
he is one guy that has been really overlooked, and on the tougher patterns will show his versatility as one of the best young rising stars

What ever happened to a guy by the name of Rory Kaliquin?  I remember him being a beast when I was in Juniors.  I think he had something like 19 300's by the time we were 18.
