Best Place To Sit At A Live Bowling Event
« on: October 26, 2006, 04:54:01 PM »
I'm going to the Masters this Sunday and have never been to a live bowling event like this.

Where is the best place to sit, in your opinions?

The sides seem neat because the ball is coming at you a bit and you see the bowler from a front angle.

The back allows you to see the full swing and watch the ball move across the lane.

But I imagine the foul line might be the best seat.  The bowler is close and you see the entire swing and release.  It's like watching someone from a lane next to you.  I would imagine the left side is the best, to watch right handed bowlers.

Sitting on the side is pretty cool, unless you are too far down the lane to see the entire pindeck, in which case you have to do a quick lookup to one of the TV monitors to see the ball hitting the pins. I was right on the foul line on the left side one year and that was probably the best spot I've been in so far.

I've never been to the finals telecast before but I have attended the qualifers and eliminations brackets and to be able to watch all of the pros is a real treat from any angle. These folks are unreal they are very accomodating and unselfish with thier time they take a genuine interest in the fans. A must attend in my book.

I decided at a TV event, behind the bowlers was the best.

I tried the side but then you can't see the pin deck well at all.

I found that sitting about 10 rows up behinf the bowlers and to the side a bit was best.
