Duke's final shot.
« on: December 18, 2006, 05:36:08 AM »
I think Duke moved over on his last shot. It looked like he move to where Shafer was throwing most of the game. If that's what he did....what a way to answer to Shafer's comment. Stand on his line for the final shot and strike!!!

Pretty much stating: "Hey I can strike on your line so why can't you?"
Talkin' Trash!

Norm Duke is the man!  I love seeing the gods of bowling karma coming to screw Shafer with a 7-10 after he talks smack after getting a double.

Deathblooms,

They usually rerun the telecast the following Sunday at 12pm EST on ESPN Classic, but it doesn't look like they are doing that this week or next since the Tour is on break. But don't worry; the schedule shows they are going to replay it on January 7th at 12pm. They might be replaying it before then, but I just skimmed the Sunday time slots so I don't really know.

I caught the Beltway Classic on ESPN2 in the middle of the week (Tuesday, I think) last week, and it wasn't the 1-hour edit either.  It was the full show.  Check the listings, maybe it's on again.  A 1-hour version of this show might not do it justice.

Hey!  I was at the Beltway Classic.  Were you there?  You should of said hi to me!!!

I also stayed after to see their Trick Shot show taping and left after I saw Mike Machuga and Tony Reyes continually mess up on their shots.  I can't stand either one when it comes to skillful bowling.  And yes I know Tony Reyes bowled a 300 on TV this season - I watched it too.

Nope, I was in Mandeville, LA, probably 1200 miles away.  I watched it on tape Sunday night, then caught a few minutes of it on Monday or Tuesday when the baby hit a button on the TV remote that changed and channel to ESPN2.

I was at Taylor watching Tony Reyes throw the 300 live (row 3 right behind all the wives). It wsa fun, and he seems like a good guy. we stayed for TWO trick shot tapings and once the Duke+Voss vs the "Young Guns" was over it just got painful and slow. Hard to believe that they edit it down to 10 minutes on TV.

It would probably go quicker and have better shots if the bowlers weren't in the bar watching football waiting for the telecast to end!!

I found it ironic Shafer was talkin the talk when he didn't even hit the head pin on the first shot.
