Now what? ( spoiler )
« on: November 16, 2008, 04:48:54 AM »
Well, after the scoring fiasco earlier this week, and the PBA's so called "executive decision" to allow Machuga to bowl, he freakin wins the tournament.

What will the PBA say about this?  What if they had decided to leave him out of it all together?

Will there be any ramifications, are am I just thinking crazy things again and need to check my meds?

What I'm really interested in is how they afford to hold the telecast for 2 hrs+ today.  I wonder how many more bowlers will get screwed out of money during the season.

But Necromancer Machuga wasn't hooking the ball very much how can you call it exciting? I thought you only though bowling is cool when you hook the ball from ditch to the other?

Randy Pedersen said it right at the beginning when they discusses the scoring fiasco. ESPN was actually willing to comply for once, and understood the PBA was going to go over its usual 1.5 hour timeslot, and told them to do whatever was necessary in order to do things properly.

So the answer to how the PBA could afford today is that they didn't have to, ESPN was very accomodating about the situation, which is definately a good sign.

They didn't leave him out because he should have been in in the first place.  Rash is the one that should have never been on the show.  If he won then I can see a discrepancy, but the POS choked and dropped an F bomb.  Hopefully they take all his earning from this week away.

So you're saying Rash should have been on the show?  Even though he bowled on the correct lane yet got a muligan after bowling like crap?  Yet Machuga was under the impression he was in well before his last game was done (which he was until Rash got his muligan) and you think he should be the one that was left out?  And what does my bowling skill have to do with anything?  It's called karma.  Go flap along somewhere else.

I like Rash, find his cockiness entertaining, but I agree that he should not have been on the show this week. Congrats to Machuga though, I was rooting for him solely because of the scoring mishap.
