in another thread that a rivalry get going in order to get ratings and money flowing in in order to keep the PBA afloat.
 Here's my idea...........
 1.At each weekly tournament,cut the number of qualifying games in half.
 2.Form divisions based on the average of the player after the Q block----x number of players in each division.
 3.Stepladder matches---lowest against the next highest until a winner is declared in the division.
 4.Winners on TV in the stepladder format we have.
 *You could keep the exempt number of players the same,but then allow the next 64 players in order of finish to pay a fee to get intothe tournament and have their own setup with the above format.
