One more sign that we have become a world full of overgrown, hypersensitive crybabies waiting to be offended by something...

Well, except for the whiner comment...

The irony in these types of threads always amuse me...people don't like the fact that they think a professional athlete whines...so they find a forum (like this one) to go and whine about someone else whining...

Amen.  PA shows passion and that winning means everything in the world to him.  His actions show that there is actual prestigue and that the PBA title actually means something to someone.  It's better than watching some guys win their tenth title and looking like their house just burned down (See. Tommy Jones Title #10, Walter Ray....just about every title he wins).  Some guys act like their jaded by winning so much, everytime PA wins it's like watching someone's dreams finally come true for the first time.

Hats off to Mop.  If you guys only knew him.

I like Parker's chances tommorrow based on the fact that I think he'll make the best adjustments.  PA will be right there, but the way the lanes are going to break down will favor Parker because of his ball speed and experience.  I think he will finally break the streak and win #31 tommorrow.

Ernie in his hayday would crumble that punks mind to pieces. That punk would be crying after Ernie got into his dome.

We gotta bowlers on TV yelling stuff like this:

"NO F*CKING WAY !!!"

"F*CK THIS GAME !!!"

"I wish that A*SHOLE would turn that camera off !"

"That was luck !"

"OH MY F*CKING GOD !!!"

"Kiss my a*s Walter Ray !...Get some revs BIT*H !"

Actually, that's the opposite of what's happening.

We didn't get up in arms or offended in sports 30-50 years ago -- because people knew what the word "class" meant, and they won or lost with class.

Class and sportsmanship says a lot more about a person's worth than their bowling abilities, how many profanities they can string together, and how brash they can be.

I'll say it again -- there's an intellect problem afoot. Has nothing to do with being a crybaby. Has everything to do with being stupid.

Since quite a few have used my previous quote to pick on, let me rephrase if I was not clear.  We need guys to have some emotion when they are on the telecast.  I never implied that they should get in the face of another opponent or talk trash or anything like that.  Personality will only add to the appeal of the sport.  ALOT of people did not agree with Marshall Holman's antics when he was on tv.  BUT, they would still tune in to watch when he was on because they wanted to see what he was going to do next.  So to reiterate, show some attitude.  But, keep it respectable.
