TJ threw a Smashtime Pearl, and then he tested a Gamebreaker Polished to no end in  the fill against WRW

whoever said Pete was throwing a Thunderstruck Solid needs to realize, purple does not mean Thunderstruck lol..That was definately a Jolt Pearl..

Almost correct, but it was a Gravity Shift on the left lane not a Attitude Shift. And yes TJ was throwing the Smash Time Pearl. It seems that every time TJ makes a show on this pattern he uses a ball from that line (BIg Time Smash Time stc.) because he loves that core with a basic drill pattern.

Just thought id mention that the Angular Tommy Delutz was throwing was a super Blem ball. Check it out at his website www.tommydelutzjr.com under the pictures section and then In My Bag. Its got the MB all the way on the other side of the ball. Wouldn't have expected him to be using something like that.

O.K., discounting T.J.'s desire to win, why would ebonite let him throw a discontinued ball on the show?

Started to get one of those when they were out, but they only stayed out for a couple of weeks it seems like, and I never got the money up for one.

If everyone wants to go out tomorrow and buy the greatest ebonite ball ever ( according to the telecast today) THEY CAN'T BECAUSE THEY DON'T EVEN MAKE THEM ANYMORE!

Ebonite just has to LOVE that now, don't they?

Really don't think that the companies have a true say in what ball the player throw on the show. If they offer a bonus (assuming they pay the guys to throw certain balls) to throw the ball and the bowler turns that bonus down, that's his decision. Dino was right there with Tommy at the end of the first match between WRW and Malott.

If TJ felt that his best reaction was with an older ball then so be it. Not Ebonite's choice in the matter. TJ threw what gave him the best look. For all it mattered to him he could've thrown a Savage as long as it got the job done and got him his 12th title today. TJ still represented Ebonite and very well might I add.

PDW threw (by standards) an older ball too with the Jolt Pearl.
