Questions on PBA Pro-Am Tournament..??
« on: March 05, 2008, 11:54:14 AM »
The PBA is here in CT this week and they are having a "Pro-Am" tournament where you get to "Bowl with the Pros".  It's a 9 pin no-tap tournament.  Has anyone done this tournament?  Can you tell me what it's all about?  Thanks.

They're a great time. There's an actual tournament for money going on (the pros are not entered in the tournament; they're bowling on a pacer line with you). They switch out every five frames. Lots of trick shots, very lighthearted stuff.

It's great to take kids to, too.

Do they give you tips/pointers as you bowl with them?

They will give you tips/pointers as long as you ask them. Whatever you need help with that's what they are there to help you out with. I am doing the US Open Pro Am on March 24th. I do it every year.

Sounds like it would be worth the money then.  Thanks for the responses.
