« on: November 21, 2004, 04:21:46 AM »
Just went to commercial, and things aren't lookin good for angelo.  I have a feelin the ultra stroker (fluffer?) Lawrence will take it.

EDIT:  Final score-

Angelo- 198

Don't count out Brad yet...he is more than capable of stringing them, and Lawrence did catch a few breaks in the 1st match.

I think that Brad will win if Lawrence's nerves get to him.  He doesn't seem like he has a strong mental game.  He looked like he was shaking after that shot in the 10th.

Okay, well he just missed a 3-4-7.  He needs a miracle choke by lawrence now.

Looks like Brad will have to wait for his 1st....watch out when he gets it, probably many more to follow fairly quickly.

Brad seems to do MUCH better against the loud, pumped up players like Couch.  The quiet ones like lawrence and Mika seem to just kill him.  MAybe the silence gets to him lol?

I agree though, when he gets his first he'll go on a run.

Tough for Angelo he really throws and awesome looking ball.  Its tough to watch someone like Lawrence take it but he is still a PBA bowler no matter what style.  I just prefer to see the better showman win but congrats none the less to lawrence.

Showmanship doesn't really have anything to do with it.  Rick is a very good bowler, and very tough mentally.  He might have been nervous, but he came through in the clutch.  2 for 2 on TV, 6-0 in matches on TV.  Angelo will get his, but maybe he isn't as tough mentally right now??

What were they throwing?

Angelo was obviously throwing the original Inferno. Was Couch throwing a V2 Dry or something else? I could never make out the markings.

What about WRW and Lawrence?

WRW was throwing a dulled up Crash and it kinda looked like Lawrence was throwing a Justice Pearl.

Not even close in color the justice is silvery and pearl the ball he was using was obviously blue/breen.  Hurd threw the justice pearl last week on TV.
