And that 9th place spot she occupies represented a DROP from where she was in the first four games.  In the first four games, she already had a pair of 279's to go with a 213 and a 244.

Oh...and for all you Traber haters...don't look now, but Dave is in the top 10, and his brother is in the hunt for the top-32

Insane.  You shoot 223 and lose 2 spots to the field?  Just nuts.

Figures Liz and Trabers only hit'm when they can point it off the gutter. They can score on the other conditions but not enough to keep up with the top guys.

He could have put out the pattern the PBA uses, provided his center has the type of lane-dressing options alotted to the PBA and practiced for months. I highly doubt it would play the same. Even still practicing on it lends a broad outline to how the shot will play, the way PBA players break down patterns in conjunction with PBA pattern transition makes bowling no walk in the park. At best, this "kid" probably knows the carry charateristics from pair to pair.

For anyone that has not seen Ryan Ciminelli bowl, he's very good.  A smooth lefty.  I highly doubt that practicing on the pattern (if he even had the tools to mimic it) would play the same as it does when the pros break it down.  I'm not surprised to see him bowling well, although he beat out some other good local lefties to get there (e.g. Ken Muscato)
