While the prime time publicity is great and needed.

It is sad they can only get a set of exhibition matches on. I would like to see that sponsor money put into the general prize fund to benefit all the bowlers.

I don’t understand the format. But it looks like the Player of the year has one shot at the start and then would have to win all his matches to stay on top and be king.

The lowest ranked players would be on the last show and only have to bowl one king of the hill match.

I would think they win each week. That would give the top seeded players a chance to win more times.

The prize money is divided up so some is given out each week.

Hey this is cool. It's not official tournaments but it beats Rolls to Riches which I think outlived itself.

I'm hoping the summer tour will return though. I always envisioned they could make a summer tour for the exempt players at the end of the winter/summer tour and have a points race for bowlers that are not exempt instead of having the tour trials like they do now.

Sounds good and I also think that it is great that it will be televised on Wednesday nights. There isn't anything worth watching at all on on that night!

I kind of wish the PBA would go to Wednesday nights for regular telecasts anyways...maybe in the next season. At least try it for the first half. They did this in 2001 in the first half of the season having it on Tuesday nights. Perhaps they would have better ratings on a weekday night then a Sunday afternoon going against Football and just the fact it is on the afternoon.
