Title: PBA IN THE BAG
Post by: bowling474 on November 09, 2009, 02:19:53 AM
According to PBA in the bag, Duke was throwing a HY-Road yesterday. Unless I missed it, or he changed, I swear i saw a 2nd dimension. Maybe i'm wrong but IDK.... Thoughts...

He was definitely throwing a 2D in the finals I saw the green and red on it.

I saw the 2D name on the ball as well as the 2D logo. I'm just curious why PBA said it was a Hy-Road

Wow, you mean the show was so convoluted that even the PBA themselves couldn't keep up with what was going on?

He threw a Hy-Road once that I saw, then commented that "He threw the wrong ball"  because of his "age".

Who cares? You knew what he threw. And he did technically use the Hy-Road.

I watched again and he actually used the hy-road twic,  He used it in the third frame of the third game and one of the fill shots in the last game.

We don't care, but the PBA prides itself on professionalism, so you would think they cared enough to get it right.

But they didn't. Shows how much attention they pay to their own tournaments.

Walter Ray "technically" used a spare ball, right?

I don't think the PBA prides itself on anything these days.

You may be right. Seems as though they may be searching for a new "identity".

"In the bag" is wrong on a disturbingly frequent basis. Makes you wonder if they check before hand or just forget and guess afterwords.

Actually he used at least three different balls during the show that I saw. Second Dimension, Virtual Energy, and the Hy-Road.

Yes Juggernaut let's keep our sport alive by continuing to pour dirt on it while it sits in its hole.

+1

This is a nice thing that the PBA try to provide to it's fans. It doesn't have to do it, but they do it anyway. And last time I checked, computers can't find things out like this on their own, so a person has to put it on there. People make mistakes at times, based on the posts I see on here, some people make mistakes a lot of the time. It happens....the first of you who is 100% perfect all the time can step up and complain....the rest should just STFU.

I swear bowlers will only be happy if the PBA folds and every single bowling alley closes.  Of course, that would cut down on the d!ck waving and the "look at me" syndrome bowlers have, so I guess they would have to infect some other game at that point.  I hear dart leagues are accepting new members.....

Maybe he got his hands on one of these.  LOL.  If you click on the photo you can see it's called a Hy-Road Xtreme.
