Just saw the first one of this season. One team vs another each week. Next week, another two teams.
I like the idea of the new format: 4 different games.
Singles, doubles, trios and team.
It lets you see how people throw under pressure, how they deal with the transition and give each of them a chance to throw multiple times and lets you see how they adjust, some with some using different balls on each lane, some with hand release and speed and line changes.
I think this lets you see just how good these guys are. They are amazing.
Sometimes it's like fine art, sometimes like fine craftsmanship.
Additionally, the blue tint showed some serious changes this week.

+1

Really liked the new format. Show had more of a bowling feel to it that the guys took serious instead of a gimmick type show or format.
-
Definitely +1 to the show and format - First one in a long while that kept my interest.

I don't like the point system of 1:1:1:3 It pretty much makes team the only match that really matters. Other than that it seems like a good format.

I loved the format! Definitely engaging. and it forced all the players to stay in tune with the transitions that were going on in the early games! Strategic placement of certain players......playing to one guy's strength over another's......this was good stuff! Yeah.....I liked it a lot!

Crap. With this many people liking the format it's surely doomed.

Ok, ok, the format sucks. >:(
Just trying to do my part to help! ;D

The format is doomed because there is no money to support it.

I like it because the bowlers seemed to be really enjoying themselves. Especially Walter Ray...he looked like he was loving it!
Ill take the teams format any time over the singles matches. Too many sour faces there...

I really enjoyed the past league this week...it feels like a real league lol
-
I like it but I think they should do it like the high school format two full games by 5 players from each team kind of like league play head to head pts for across bowlers and team totals. And then 2 or 3 bakers games. This would be very interesting to see there adjustments with all the guys bowling on the same pair of lanes like league play. But Im sure they prolly cant fit this in a 2 hr time slot

I missed it but set my DVR for this week. It annoys me that espn has 40 networks and they can't find space on any of them for a replay. Not is it in demand. Is that asking too much?
I'd enjoy the team format more if the teams actually represented the cities in the shirts. If all matches are played in Michigan or wherever, how is this a city vs city league. IF this catches on more, perhaps they have a longer term plan to actually play home matches. I'd love to be a bigger fan of Philly hitmen but aside from Bill Oneill, what's Philly about it?

Better format than last year, but since they are only bowling for a trophy, who really gives a crap?
