YOU TUBE has some great vids of some of the all time great PBA players.  Any younger bowlers reading this that never seen footage of the all time greats, should really check them out.

Type in the names in the search window.
Mark Roth (Old time cranker that was just flat out awesome)
Earl Anthoney  (smooth and accurate)
Dick weber (straight and accurate)


Those are just some of the players on you tube.  There's really and awesome collection of vids on that site.

I noticed a lot of players back then were far from text book.  Take a look at Mark Roth.  He always fell off to the side yet was great!  In fact, a lot of the great players back then didn't have great balance at the line.  A lot of them fall off to the side on there shots but could repeat time and time again.

I'm really amazed at the straight players.  I'm talking totally straight.  Look at Dick Weber.  This guy's accuracy rolling it straight is a site to see.  I bet this style would still work very well on today's conditions.

Many of these older players games were very simple but deadly.
