After 3 games...Randy Pedersen is leading with an 805, great to see him bowling well in his first tournament in a while.

It's just too bad that Randy P. is a complete douchebag...and I'm not talking about in the broadcast booth.

Randy isn't the only one. A LOT of guys on tour are surly and for the most part, unlikable. A lot of it is show, some of you would be shocked to know what they say about "fans"........

I hope Randy makes it in this one, it would be awsome to see Him win another title, but also be bakc i nthe winners circle though. Besides there will always be someone that doesn't like another bowler, so just get over it and just appreciate the fact that people can watch the pro's bowl on tv.

Personally I don't care how they are off the lanes.  I only watch them bowl on TV.

Darn, Ernie S. just missed the cut....the chance of a stone 8 to lose just went out the window.

We just got back from the High Roller Military Championships and Randy came over to the Gold Coast almost every day for the opening ceremonies and other times of the day during the tournament and talked to and shook every peron's hand on the 70 lanes during the bowling.  Though all the other professional bowlers were invited, the only bolwers I seen at the Military tournament to talk to the active and retired military bowlers was Randy, Todd Book and Vinny (sorry I don't know Vinny's last name).  Randy was a true Ambassador to bowling.

A couple of us went over to watch the professioanl doubles tournament at Red Rock (morning and afternnon squad) and again Randy remembering us from the Military tournament came up, shook our hands and talked with us before leaving.

As far as what we seen thrown, the Twisted a lot and some T-Road Solids, Gravity and the Cell.  There were others thrwon of course, but I couldn't se from the stands and I didn't ask.

This is a little off topic, but why is the TOC being held now instead of at the end of the season?  I don't remember when it was last year, but it doesn't make sence to hold it in the middle of the season like it is.

They wanted to space the major tournaments out more.  The last few years they've been US Open, standard tourney, World Championships, ToC, just bam-bam-bam.  This year there are several weeks between each one.

Good to see PDW held on to make it.  Nice 300 he bowled.  Wonder what ball he used to get it.
